The episode aired on Sunday and was produced over a period of several weeks. In the episode, Helen is part of a "dream team" of business advisors to the owners of a family business, a group of jewelry stores in Monterey, CA. The owners of Monterey Bay Silver must raise their company’s profitability significantly so they can fund their retirement.

The show features Helen applying her knowledge of retail industry operating modelsfrom economics to store design to organization—to help the company improve its profitability. Other experts on the program are a representative from a financial software company that syncs up accounting systems with point of sales systems, and a financial advisor who creates a road map to boost the value of the business. 

Helen is no stranger to the media, as she is often quoted in local San Francisco publications and national media as an expert on hot retail issues, such as Amazon’s strategy to move into home delivery of fresh food.
