Business Event | Rick Williams | Multigenerational Workforce
Newport Board Group Partner Rick Williams, a member of the firm’s New England practice, will be the moderator of a business event on a topic that is important to all organizations. The event, in Burlington, VT on April 12, is titled From Gray Hair to Flip Flops, Leading a Multigenerational Workforce.
The session, sponsored by Willis Towers Watson, will feature speakers who are leaders of major Vermont companies. They will share their experiences attracting and motivating a diverse workforce and engaging it with the mission of their organizations. They will have advice for participants about how to deal with different cultural values and attitudes about work — across baby boomers, millennial and other age groups.
The goal of the session is to help employers understand how to shape cultural values so that employees are fully engaged with the mission of the organization.
The event will be held at the Burlington Country Club from 3-5 PM on April 12 and will be followed by a cocktail hour. For more information about the event and to register click here.
