Caleb White, New England
Since 2000, Caleb has been a Board Director with Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc., a portfolio of manufacturing companies whose products include pet foods, solutions for aerospace and defense, life science diagnostic testing, specialty chemical processing and commercial real estate. A 6th generation owner of this family business, Caleb played a key role in the company’s exit, after more than 150 years, from the commercial explosives industry. The company forged a successful joint venture with a private equity-owned firm and ultimately closed a successful sale to a strategic buyer. After this transformational exit, Caleb joined senior management and led diversification into global markets and life-sciences. As CEO for seven years, his accomplishments included leading the acquisition of three Aerospace & Defense bolt-ons and global expansion of the pet palatant business. The company invested heavily in three new platforms: renewable energy, specialty chemicals and life science diagnostics testing, as well as in R&D across all platforms.
Earlier in his career Caleb held several high level executive positions with BP Amoco in Europe and the U.S, including a role as leader of a team responsible for global internal change management.
