Martin Lindenberg, a Newport Board Group partner, will be a judge of the completion, to be held next month on the 12th to 14th of April. The competition started in 2001. Martin is one of only about 20 individuals who have been invited to judge the competition every single year since its inception.

Newport Board Group Partner Martin Lindenberg will speak to the Bio/Medical Club of Houston breakfast meeting on April 3. His talk, titled CEO Best Practices, will include Martin’s point of view on how emerging growth companies should access the capital they need to be successful. The event starts at 7 AM at the Rotary House in the Medical Center.

At a recent seminar at Rice University, Servant Leadership: A Model for the 21st Century, Newport Board Group partner Kim Denney presented a summary of takeaways from a panel discussion. The essence of servant leadership, Denney said, is to put someone else in front of yourself. It is a means to influence those around us while remaining authentic and true to who we are. The principles of servant leadership are equally applicable to “grey haired business people and students just starting out in their careers,” Denney noted.
