Newport Partner Kim Denney Named To Advisory Board

Newport Board Group Partner Kim Denney was recently named to the Advisory Board of the National Association of Women MBAs for the Houston Chapter.

The Houston Professional Chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women MBAs in order to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America and to enhance the diversity of the nation’s workforce. In order to accomplish its mission, NAWMBA focuses its efforts in four key areas: education, professional development, networking and collaboration.

The group collaborates with many institutions throughout the Houston area, including the University Chapters of the University of Houston Bauer School of Business and Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Management. It enjoys a close working relationship with Women in Energy, an association for women professionals that provides networking opportunities for women in the energy industry and fosters career and leadership development.

Kim will also be presenting on Servant Leadership at the March 28 meeting of the NAWMBA members.
