The Association for Corporate Growth recently released a book graphically depicting data from GrowthEconomy.org. The book is titled Driving Growth: The Impact of Private Capital on the U.S. Economy. The book compares sales and job growth of private capital-backed companies compared to other companies in the US economy, 1995-2010.
ACG is striving to bring more attention to the role of private capital investment. They hope this book will bring more transparency and visibility.
Doug Tatum, Chairman of Newport Board Group, Associate Professor-Entrepreneurship, Middle Tennessee State University, Wright Travel Chair and chairman of IEGC’s advisory committee, provided the strategic vision for this project and arranged for access to the extraordinary NETS database.
