Doug Tatum, Newport Board Group, Chairman was asked to participate in the podcast “In Process: Conversations about Business in the 21st Century,” where he commented on challenges to growth for entrepreneurial companies. Tatum who is also author of “No Man’s Land: Where Growing Companies Fail” discusses the need for entrepreneurs to be objective about what will enable them to grow. In the podcast he also outlines important areas to address including: correcting business misalignment, replacing your inner circle, moving from a cheap labor to high performance model and developing an entrepreneur-centric value proposition which is necessary to scale the business.
