Events for CEOs

Jerry Dilettuso, Newport Board Group partner who has been the CEO of several entrepreneurial companies, presented a seminar titled Five Roles of the CEO on June 16, part of the Business Leadership Center’s ongoing enrichment program at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. Funded by an endowment from Edwin L. Cox, the BLC was developed to complement the Cox MBA program with real-world experience provided by business leaders drawn from prominent national and international companies. Cox MBA students reflect the value of learning from speakers like the one with Jerry by participating regularly in the seminars although the sessions are not required. Jerry earned a Business Leadership Teaching Excellence Award for his presentation, which means that the students attending rated the seminar as a 4.8 or higher out of a possible “perfect” rating of 5.
