Newport Partner Caleb White to be Part of “Dream Team” Panel to Discuss Key Private and Family Business Issues

Caleb White, a member of Newport Board Group’s New England practice, will be part of a panel at the 5th annual CEO Leadership Summit '16. The event is to be held at the Boston Harbor Distillery on Wednesday December 7 from 5 to 7:30 PM. It will present a “Dream Team” of advisors who are expert on issues related to business succession, transition and exit planning.

The discussion will focus on issues including:

  • New IRS rules that have dramatically impacted a business owner’s ability to gift part of their business to family members.
  • Planning for an equity event potentially years down the line: financing resources and valuation techniques.
  • Reengineering compensation and bonus programs to reflect the long-term plan.
  • The impact of taxation, estate planning, acquisition and divestiture on your future plans.

The program will include a panel discussion, networking, dinner, tours and tastings.

Caleb White brings to the event particular expertise in board governance. He is a senior strategic and operational executive who has played high impact leadership roles at both privately-held and large public companies in multiple industries and with companies at several different stages of development.
