A TEDTalk in 2010 sparked the debate around Sandberg’s call for women to ‘lean in’ and ‘get rid of’ internal barriers which can work against success. In Lean In she asserts that there is a “leadership ambition gap” among women in the workplace that must be closed for power structures to change.
